Devizes Business Expo 2019

Would you like to showcase your business to other businesses in Devizes?

The Devizes Chamber of Commerce has organised the inaugral Devizes Business Exhibition in the historic Wiltshire Museum on the evening of Wednesday 18th September.

We are inviting local companies, both members and non-members, to exhibit at the Event, giving them an opportunity to showcase their services and provide some exposure to other businesses. A modest charge of £20 is required to exhibit, payable via Eventbrite.

A diary of future events is planned as the Chamber looks to increase its presence in the Town and offer an improved platform to represent business growth and awareness.

Upstairs at Jack Spratts Thursday 15th November 6 pm onwards

• Hear from Andrew Wheeler of Goodman Nash talk about Business Rates and how to reduce them.
• Join us in our campaign to get redress for the disruption from the London Road traffic works.
• Talk to other local business owners and members of the Devizes Chambers committee about local issues that affect your business.

Save the date – Mid-Winter Ball

To announce that the Chamber will be hosting a Mid-Winter Ball at the Town Hall on Friday 18th January 2019. We’re delighted that The Rt Hon Claire Perry, MP for the Devizes Constituency and Minister of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy will be our guest speaker.

The event will showcase local food and wine, with catering supplied by Vaughan’s kitchen. There will also be entertainment.

Ticket prices are £50 for members and £60 for non-members. Table bookings are also available for a set price of £495. To book your table, or individual tickets please email us.

Devizes Chamber Mid-Winter Ball 2019

1st Business breakfast

We ran our 1st local business breakfast for many years on Wednesday at Brogans Cafe on the Brittox. Delicious full English breakfast and plenty of discussions, particularly about the recent changes in local business rates. Thanks to all those who attended bright and early, we will be running an event on the 1st Wednesday of every month, look out for our emails an check back on the website.

Christmas drinks a great success

Our Devizes Business Christmas Drinks at Times square on Tuesday 20th December was a great success. Over 40 local business people attended along with representatives from the Town Council and local Councillors. Thanks to all who attended, we hope you enjoyed the Fizz and nibbles and had a good opportunity to meet and talk.
